Our partner, an internationally and locally awarded company for innovation in its field, is looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to join their established team in their office in Cluj. This person will lead full-time the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate is a result-orientated event planner, with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-time, in-budget projects - Execute projects within the intended scope, timeframe, and funds.
- Leadership - takes ownership of project lifecycle and a team of 12 members
- Communicate with clients - Drive contact with clients throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines, and grow the relationship.
- Communicate with the team - Ensures that the involved team is kept informed throughout the life cycle of the project through meetings and reports.
- Manage resources - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project and create monthly reports.
- Develop project plans - Create detailed plans for each project to outline execution strategy including objectives, schedule, and cost.
- Track and communicate progress - Measure performance for presentation to clients and internal leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in project management and event planning such as local and international business conferences/events
- Experience with leading small to medium sized teams
- Availability and adaptability to travel 30% of the time in Romania as well as abroad
- Budget management
- Project management tools knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
- Problem - solving and result orientated individual
- Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Advanced Microsoft Office package knowledge
- EU passport holder
